I make drawings, constructions and site specific installations, often including sound elements, almost always based on landscape forms. I take images and materials at face value and for their symbolic value. Drawing is my way of thinking, of inquiring into my veneration and awe of natural processes and phenomena. I want to notice carefully, to be grateful for beauty, to balance nature, artifice and my human contrivance.
